How to upgrade
Upgrading to First Class with Grand Central is easy - decide on the day, take a seat on the train, and pay for the upgrade when on board**.
- *Light refreshments consists of tea, coffee, fruit juices, still and sparkling water, and biscuits.
- **Please note, standard Advance train tickets cannot be upgraded to First Class.
- Please note upgrades and complimentary light refreshments are subject to availability.
- Upgrades on Southbound services are only available once the train has departed either York or Doncaster.
