The Piece Hall

We have been official travel partner to the Piece Hall in Halifax since October 2017. The Grade I-listed Piece Hall is the last remaining cloth hall in the UK, the sole survivor of the great 18th century northern cloth halls and one of Britain’s most outstanding Georgian buildings.

Following a major transformation, The Piece Hall reopened in August 2017 as a contemporary leisure, retail, cultural and heritage destination, featuring a mix of independent shops, expanding local businesses and returning tenants. The Piece Hall Trust is a charitable organisation created to manage and sustain the building’s future.

As part of our support for the Piece Hall we have sponsored a range of activities and events, including a memorable elves workshop, 2019’s Christmas tree and the current art installation, The Blanket, by David Murphy, the Piece Hall Trust’s first visual arts commission.
